As a Cloud Support Engineer with Amazon Web Services (AWS), you will be at the forefront of our transformational technology, assisting global companies and developers leveraging our cloud services. Your role will involve acting as a "Cloud Ambassador", arming customers with essential tools and tactics to maximize their investment in AWS products and support.
A Day in the Life
The AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) team drives revenue, adoption, and growth from top accounts, including public sector. The AWS Global Support team partners with leading companies building mission-critical applications on AWS services. Our focus is on delivering world-class support that enables customer success.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as a liaison between customers and AWS teams, providing expert technical guidance and support.
* Develop in-depth knowledge of AWS cloud services and features to assist customers in maximizing their product and support investment.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex customer issues and improve overall support experience.
Requirements
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
* Fluency in Mandarin.
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a technical position.
* Basic understanding of Machine Learning/AI and at least 1+ years of experience with Hadoop/ML/Large Dataset handling, DB/DW experience, and advanced experience in Apache Hadoop, Apache Spark, Apache Hive, HBase, and Presto or ETL skills with NoSQL technologies like DynamoDB, MongoDB, or Cassandra.
* Experience with System Administration, Linux, troubleshooting Kerberos Authentication problems.
* Experience with Network troubleshooting.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Expert experience in the Hadoop Ecosystem, including Apache Spark, Apache Hive, HBase, Presto, Data Lake architecture, and administration.
* Prior work experience with AWS services, such as EMR, Glue, SageMaker, and excellent knowledge of Hadoop architecture, administration, and support.
* Lead technical discussions on BigData systems architecture and design and have knowledge on distributed computing environments.
* Strong analysis and troubleshooting skills, and experience also having AWS Certified Solutions Architect/BigData/AI Specialty.
