Maintenance Engineer - Pharmaceuticals - 12-Month Contract

Located 15 minutes from Dublin Airport and just a short distance from the lively, vibrant, and cultural Irish capital, this leading biopharmaceutical organisation paves the way with state-of-the-art technology on their one-of-a-kind manufacturing facility.
Responsibilities:
1. Proactively ensuring that all EHS responsibilities are carried out according to regulations and procedures including Risk Assessments, RAMS and safety GEMBAs.
2. Provide support to new equipment installations and product introductions.
3. Maintaining the Maintenance Quality System by adherence to all relevant SOP’s, policies and cGMP requirements.
4. Plan and coordinate scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks in accordance with site policies and procedures.
5. Maintaining spare parts, change parts and equipment both within the DS facility and in the Engineering Stores.
6. Ensure the Maintenance Management System is maintained correctly.
7. Utilising and maintaining IT systems as required, e.g. Computerised Calibration Systems and Computerised Maintenance Management Systems.
8. Leading shift-handovers and reporting issues using a Tier-meeting approach
9. Provide support to Operations, Validation, Engineering and Quality where required.
Experience required:
10. Associate Degree &/or certification in a mech, elec or related field is required.
11. 3-5 years experience in an appropriate cGMP commercial manufacturing environment, preferably with experience on upstream (cell culture) and downstream purification
12. Prior hands-on experience with CMMS and Computerised Calibration Systems.
13. Prior experience with Quality Management Systems.
14. High level of interpersonal, communication and technical problem-solving skills.
15. Demonstrable knowledgeable of cGMP for process equipment, instruments and calibration. Knowledge of Six Sigma and lean systems is an advantage.
16. Ability to make informed and timely decisions that take into account the facts, goals, constraints, and risks associated.
