Sulzer Pump Solutions Ireland Ltd (SPIRL), is part of the Flow division of Sulzer, specializing in pumping solutions to meet our customers' needs. With our onsite global design team, we engineer and manufacture products and solutions that support water recycling in a sustainable, energy-efficient way. Our products have been working hard in the environment for over 50 years. Over 100,000 pumps are manufactured in Wexford annually to control and clean water for a global market.
We are looking for a Buyer to join our FE_WIBU team in Ireland. We're seeking a skilled Procurement Professional to join our Wexford team and drive our growth. You'll play a crucial role in supporting site manufacturing operations and achieving strategic objectives by leveraging your strong purchasing expertise, commercial acumen, and deep SAP knowledge.
Your main tasks and responsibilities:
* Responsible for ensuring all purchasing data entered into company systems is accurate and current to enable accurate reporting and KPI management.
* Ordering and expediting as required.
* Master Data creation and maintenance.
* Implementing purchase and inventory strategies for components and executing exception messages generated by ERP (SAP).
* Ensures all purchases are executed in line with the Global & local procurement policies.
* Report out monthly on dashboard of own portfolio.
* Lead Quarterly business reviews with own key suppliers.
* Other tasks as may be assigned by the company.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* Highly motivated and ambitious.
* 5+ years of experience in a similar procurement role.
* Advanced SAP expertise.
* Relevant Procurement qualifications and/or experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* IT literate.
* Excellent interpersonal skills.
* Excellent decision-making skills.
* Good interpersonal skills and a willingness to work with people at all levels of an organisation.
