Galetech Energy Services (GES), part of the Galetech Group, is one of the leading renewable energy services companies in Ireland. We are presently working as consultants on a range of wind, solar, BESS, and bioenergy projects both in Ireland and internationally. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a project manager to join our team.
GES is supporting clients on a number of projects at various stages of their project lifecycle. You will be primarily responsible for managing projects through both pre-construction and construction phases. The role will vary from project to project between leading the Owner Engineer team or being part of the wider team as needed. You will also provide commercial and technical input where required. The role will involve assisting in the preparation of electrical functional specifications, tendering, contract management, and operations support.
The ideal candidate will be a project engineer/project manager with experience in the renewable energy sector. The ideal candidate will be highly self-motivated, organized, have the ability to problem-solve, and deliver projects to deadlines whilst working in a dynamic environment, both as part of a team and on their own initiative.
Excellent communication and strong technical ability are essential. Familiarity with the renewable energy sector and grid connections would be a distinct advantage. A working knowledge of CAD or other electrical design software packages is desirable.

The role will combine both office/home-based project management along with site-based tasks. Site-based time will vary and could be up to 2 or 3 days per week.
Salary is negotiable and dependent upon experience. Home/Office/Site working hybrid is available. A full clean driver's license is essential.

* Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (if required)

* Ability to perform under pressure
Beneficial:
