Responsibilities of the Reservations Manager:
* Manage hotel reservations and ensure a seamless experience for guests from booking to check-in
* Oversee room allocations, pricing strategies, and availability to maximise occupancy and revenue
* Collaborate with sales, marketing, and front office teams to optimise room sales and revenue management
* Monitor and manage online booking platforms, including OTA channels and direct website, ensuring accuracy and availability
* Deliver exceptional customer service by promptly addressing guest inquiries and requests
* Lead, train, and mentor a team of reservations agents to ensure high performance and consistency
Requirements:
* Previous experience as a Reservations Manager or in a similar role, preferably in a luxury hotel environment
* Proficient with systems like Mews, Opera, SynXis, Guestline, and well-versed in revenue management practices
* Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail
* Possess passion for hospitality and commitment to delivering a superior guest experience
