Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and responsible individual to oversee planning and execution activities for an ongoing EPCI project.
Key Responsibilities:
* Drive the commissioning organization and preparations to ensure readiness for commissioning.
* Organize commissioning meetings, including follow-up with memos or action lists, ensuring actions are implemented and followed up on.
* Cooperate with different teams to optimize solutions and implement them effectively.
* Split the scope into manageable commissioning packages and update the testing plan across locations.
* Plan mobilization and demobilization of equipment and cooperate with procurement to ensure contract compliance.
* Define procedures with engineering to ensure full testing in accordance with contract requirements.
* Participate in engineering meetings and provide clear expectations for delivery from engineering.
* Ensure preparation of report documents and delivery within the required timeline.
Project Details:
The majority of commissioning work is scheduled for 2026, involving on-site visits to Cork and Brest. Preparatory work, including document review and logistical planning, will be carried out this year.
Requirements:
* Engineering background with a minimum of 10 years' experience in HVDC cable installation and testing.
* Able to manage multiple interfaces; prior management or leadership experience preferred.
* Proficiency in English is essential; knowledge of French and Norwegian advantageous.
