MAHA Ireland Limited is a subsidiary of MAHA GmbH, world leaders in Vehicle Safety Test Equipment. Established in 1998, MAHA Ireland offers its customers a nationwide service of supply, installation, calibration, and maintenance of MAHA products.
Service Engineer
We are currently recruiting for a full-time Service Engineer, who wishes to enjoy an engaging and varied role, covering primarily Cork and the Munster area.
Role Outline
At customer locations, you will be required to:
1. Undertake company procedures, as prescribed
2. Perform equipment calibrations to the standard of ISO17025
3. Carry out prescribed equipment maintenance
4. Perform competent remedial repairs as required
5. Install and commission vehicle safety test and lifting equipment
6. Carry out all activities to related quality, safety, health, and environmental criteria
7. While primarily Munster-based, be available to travel nationwide with occasional overnight stays required
8. Be flexible to work extended hours as circumstances may dictate
Role Criteria
The successful candidate will present with:
1. A professional, courteous customer-oriented attitude
2. Minimum 3 years’ experience within a multi-skilled working environment ideally electrical or mechanical, preferably with supporting qualifications
3. Proven troubleshooting and fault-finding skills
4. Be computer literate, with some exposure to software operating systems an advantage
5. Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
6. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
7. Good verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to prepare and complete job-related documentation
8. Valid, full, clean driver’s license (Min. Cat. B)
