Reporting to the Branch Manager, this role is focused on providing day-to-day leadership for the Dublin branch. You will provide leadership for a growing team, managing performance and delivering an outstanding level of customer service. This is a hands-on role and you will be responsible for all aspects of the employee and customer experience. The key measures of your success will be the branch financial performance, customer service metrics and team engagement.
Responsibilities
Customer Service
Lead the branch to always provide an excellent level of customer service; reviewing the customer journey regularly and driving improvements
Ensure all hire vehicles are presented and maintained in a professional manner within appropriate timescales of being made available
Lead by example by being a visible presence in the branch, ensuring the team are well prepared for each customers’ arrival and the branch atmosphere always remains positive and professional
Employee Development
Lead the effective recruitment, training, coaching and ongoing feedback in the branch to ensure high achievement levels from the entire team
Ensure every team member has SMART goals in place which are being monitored effectively
Conduct product and systems training for all new employees, and provide daily feedback to the team to drive performance
Health & Safety
Assume responsibility for Health & Safety provision, ensuring the branch team are acting in accordance with the company’s expectations
Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety practices, creating a safe and healthy working environment for all employees
Take immediate and effective action to remedy any shortcomings as they become apparent
Fleet Management
Coach, train and feedback to the team to ensure vehicle management processes are following, including accurate damage and system checks
Support the management team in effective resource management to allow vehicles to be cleaned quickly upon arrival at the branch
