Social Care Workers - Nationwide Disability Residential Service

* Key Responsibilities:
* Provide care and support through a person-centred approach that meets the practical, physical, and emotional needs of residents.
* Act as a key worker for named residents where appropriate.
* Support residents with their daily plans, individual goals, and education.
* Assist residents with living skills, such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, attending appointments, and family visits.
* Participate in on-floor duty teams and coordinate shifts while on duty.
* Work collaboratively with Multi-Disciplinary Teams to deliver services to residents.
Requirements:
* Hold a qualification at Level 7 or above, registered as a Social Care Worker with CORU.
* Knowledge of quality assurance practices and their application to service provision.
* Experience working in residential, respite, or day service settings with persons with intellectual disabilities.
* Knowledge of Person Centred Planning, clinical and human resource policies, and relevant legislation.
* Familiarity with National Disability Standards (HIQA).
