Analyst for Financial Crimes Systems and Intelligence Team
About the Role:
The Financial Crimes Systems and Intelligence Team is responsible for managing fraud systems and delivering controls for the bank's payment monitoring systems.
The team also handles fraud MI and reporting.
Your Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver intelligent, innovative, and insightful rules and models to identify payments fraud across online channels.
2. Provide analysis, insights, and interpretation of multiple data feeds to identify potential fraudulent indicators and trends across payment systems.
3. Develop rules based on patterns to detect and prevent fraud.
4. Understand the impacts and outputs of new controls on our fraud detection platforms.
5. Analyse performance and efficiency of existing rules and models, making recommendations to reduce false positives without compromising integrity.
Requirements:
* Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.
* Experience with SQL and Python is mandatory, while additional tools like Power BI, SAS, R Language, and Tableau are advantageous.
* Advanced understanding of statistics, correlation, data mining, machine learning, or predictive analytics.
* Previous experience in defining and implementing fraud prevention strategies is desirable.
