We are currently recruiting for an experienced Sous Chef for a Michelin star Restaurant in Dublin City Center.
As Sous Chef, you will assist with managing the smooth and efficient running of the kitchen while overseeing and directing staff under your immediate supervision.
Duties:
1. Assist with managing all aspects of the kitchen
2. Hands-on training and development of staff
3. Ensure adequate resources are available according to business needs
4. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of menu items, special promotions, functions, and events among team members
Maintain good communication and work relationships in all areas. Ensure that staffing levels are maintained to cover business demands. Ensure maintenance, hygiene, and hazard issues are dealt with in a timely manner. Manage food control systems to keep margins on target.
Regular review of menus alongside the team to confirm offerings align with market trends. Adhere to food wastage program to maintain targeted margins.
Requirements:
* Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a Michelin restaurant
* Thrives in fast-paced environments
* Highly motivated and energetic individual
* Proven track record in meeting targets and deadlines
* Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
Able to enjoy working in the Food Service industry and as part of a great team.
