As a Cloud Support Engineer, you will be at the forefront of Amazon Web Services' (AWS) transformational technology, assisting a global list of companies and developers in leveraging our cloud products and services. You will act as the 'Cloud Ambassador' across all cloud products, arming customers with the required tools and tactics to get the most out of their investment.

As a Support Engineer, you will be responsible for solving customers' cases through various contact channels, including telephone, email, and web/live chat. You will apply advanced troubleshooting techniques to provide tailored solutions for our customers and drive customer interactions by thoughtfully working with customers to dive deep into the root cause of an issue.
Apart from working on a broad spectrum of technical issues, an AWS Support Engineer may also coach/mentor new hires, develop and present training, partner with development teams on complex issues or contact deflection initiatives, participate in new hiring, write tools/scripts to help the team, or work with leadership on process improvement and strategic initiatives.
Qualifications
* Ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
* Experience with Hadoop ecosystems, support, and troubleshooting (Any two applications: Apache Spark, Apache Hive, Presto, Map-Reduce, Zookeeper, HBASE, HDFS, and Pig) and a good depth of understanding of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load); creating ETL pipelines to extract and ingest data into a data lake/warehouse with simple to medium complexity transformations and troubleshooting ETL job issues.
* Good understanding of System Administration and troubleshooting with Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, RedHat) and/or Microsoft Windows Server and associated technologies (Active Directory) and a good understanding of Networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, OSI model, routing, switching, firewalls, LAN/WAN, traceroute, iperf, dig, cURL, or related).
