Deputy Manager
YOUR ROLE IN THE TEAM?
As the Deputy Manager, you will be fully accountable for the shop and the team in the absence of the Shop Manager. You will take on full management responsibility for operating and running a successful shop, while managing the team effectively. You will create a fun and enjoyable environment for all our customers and ensure every Paddy Power customer has a memorable experience! You and the team will be the face of the company in this fast-paced role, whilst dealing with many exciting everyday tasks!

HOW WE DO IT?
We want people who will stay customer focused by building strong and lasting relationships; creating a fun environment which punters love and repeatedly come back to. This will include educating and guiding your team to be able to deliver excellent customer service both face to face and over the phone, while cross-selling retail and online products and services along the way.
Other duties will include:
1. Lead from the front by running the shop in the absence of the Shop Manager.
2. Stay customer focused by gathering customer feedback and comments and building strong and lasting relationships with customers in shop and over the telephone.
3. Stay focused on results by using your shop KPIs to identify and take opportunities with energy and drive, supporting the Shop Manager to create the best betting shop environment out there.
4. Play by the rules by making sure the shop complies with Social Responsibility commitments and all shop operational procedures, including cash management procedures.
5. Be a clear communicator by actively encouraging your colleagues to share ideas on how things can be done better, quicker and easier.
6. Lead by example and drive your team to keep and maintain shop presentation standards.
