Senior Project/Program Manager
A leading Multinational Semiconductor EDA Software provider seeks a Senior Project/Program Manager for a role in Cork City, Ireland.
Job Description:
In this key role, you will be responsible for creating and executing project plans, proactively mitigating risks, and managing the project life cycle from inception to delivery and post-production support. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the successful implementation of projects, meeting customer needs, and delivering high-quality results.
Responsibilities:
- Manage External Stakeholders: As a customer-facing Program Manager, you will work closely with external stakeholders to define project objectives and requirements.
- Prioritize Requirements: You will prioritize requirements and define scope to meet customer needs in a timely manner given available resources.
- Develop Project Management Deliverables: You will develop, maintain, and distribute standard project management deliverables, including implementation plans, project schedules, project budgets, and variances.
- Partner with Development Teams: You will partner with internal and external development teams to deliver projects on time and with the required quality.
- Project Ownership: You will serve as the project owner in the development process, maintaining quality checklists, Jira tickets, schedule trackers, etc.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree: A Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution is required.
- Experience: 10+ years of experience, with at least 2+ years of Program Management or Technical Product Management experience in a technology-oriented organization.
- Certification: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
Key Skills:
- Strong project management skills with the ability to work on and track multiple projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability to think creatively and strategically when executing projects and solving problems.
- Familiarity with Integrated Circuit Design, Custom Layout, Physical Design & Verification, and Silicon Validation.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals.
