Role Summary:
We are seeking a hands-on Production Shift Team Leader to oversee shift operations and support team performance in a high-volume manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in meeting output targets, improving processes, and maintaining high standards across safety, quality, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise daily activities across designated production areas
* Lead and motivate team members to consistently meet output and quality goals
* Monitor key performance indicators and take action to improve results
* Promote continuous improvement through LEAN practices (6S, TPM, Kaizen)
* Conduct shift briefings and ensure clear communication across the team
* Work closely with Quality and Engineering to resolve issues and drive efficiency
* Ensure compliance with company policies, particularly in safety and quality
* Support onboarding and ongoing development of production staff
* Provide structured handovers and assist with planning and resource allocation
What You’ll Need:
* 4+ years’ experience in a similar supervisory role in manufacturing or repair
* Proven leadership and team management experience
* Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to performance improvement
* Familiarity with LEAN tools and production best practices
* Relevant qualification (Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in a related field)
