We are now recruiting for Grade III Clerical Officers in the education sector.
The positions are based in Laois/Offaly and are full-time, initially contracted for 3-12 months, depending on the location.
The Role
* Provide clerical support to the existing team.
* Data entry, administration, answering phone calls, filing, typing reports and letters.
* Assist with post.
* Set up meetings, either in-person or online via MS Teams, schedule appointments, send invitations and agendas, confirm delegates, take minutes when required, and issue meeting minutes.
* Process invoices, input them into the system.
* Interact with members of the public and staff, direct their queries to the relevant person or department, assist them in finding correct information on the website, provide prospectuses etc.
* Upload manual files to shared drives or cloud storage.
* Assist the centre manager in ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk.
Requirements
* Prior experience in clerical/administration/receptionist roles is required.
* Excellent IT skills are necessary.
* Strong data processing and attention to detail skills are essential.
* Planning, organisational, and diary management skills are required.
* Ability to work in a team and on own initiative.
* Familiarity with GDPR and general data protection guidelines.
* A full driver's license is advantageous.
Working Schedule
Monday to Friday
9am-5pm or 8.30am-4.30pm, dependent on the centre.
35 hours per week.
€15.27 per hour.
Full-time position.
Pay: €16.05 per hour.
