This employer is a manufacturer, wholesaler and distributor of bespoke Construction related products and are experts in aluminium roofing and ventilation products with many decades worth of experience working closely with Building Contractors, Roofers and architects advising them on technical aspects, product requirements and building regulations relating to roofing.
With very close ties to some of the leading producers in the industry, they stock and distribute throughout Ireland and the UK.
As a B2B wholesale company they exclusively supply their product ranges through all of the leading Builders Merchants.

The role -
This business is seeking to add Technical Sales Reps to the existing team.
Successful candidates will be responsible for growing and managing the sales and will report directly to the National Sales Manager. For this role, the key priority is to drive growth through growing existing customers and primarily by sourcing new customers within each region.
Your time will be spent with, Building Contractors, Roofers, Rainwater goods installers and Architects.
Presenting solutions and building lasting relationships is the key priority with this role. An ability to
work with Roofers, Aluminium Rainwater installers, Project managers, Architects and home owners
to understand their requirements as well as an ability to explain how our products are designed and
fitted is essential. There will be a requirement to visit sites and take measurements so a background
in Roofing and / or in Construction industry is preferable.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
• Servicing existing accounts, submitting prices, obtaining orders, and establishing new accounts by
• planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential customers.
• Submit orders by referring to price lists and provide drawings and measurements for approval;
• Recommend changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive
• Developments;
• Resolve customer queries by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making
• recommendations to management;
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing
• professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies;
• Provide historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales.
What we are looking for-
Ideally 3+ years in the roofing / rainwater installation industry (preferred) though technical experience in other industries may be considered.
• You will be a people orientated extrovert with pro-active characteristics and have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• You will have the ability to train and explain technical concepts and the desire to contribute to the goals and efforts of the organisation.
• We are seeking someone hardworking, persistent, and dependable.

Circa Basic €DOE plus commission and Bonus available, OTE of €50k +

8am to 5.30pm Monday to Thursday and 8am to 4pm Friday
