Social Care Leader – Ballygall Residential A vacancy now exists for a permanent, full time Social Care Leader in our community residential service, for three young adults with intellectual disability and Autism.
Centrally located in Glasnevin, Dublin 11. We are looking for a Social Care Leader with a strong, person-centred vision and a particular interest in supporting young people with Autism.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a skilled and responsive staff team to deliver a high-quality service, supporting a number of individuals with complex support needs within a residential setting.
The ideal candidate must: · Have at least 5 years' experience working in the area of intellectual disability within a community residential setting / or within Day service provision
· Have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a management or supervisory role in the area of health or social care and has experience of leading a team within their management role
· Be knowledgeable of Health Act 2007 and have experience and understanding of HIQA Regulations (2013).
· Experience working with people with Autism, and complex support needs
· Have a strong commitment to the empowerment of the service users and their families
· Have a professional and positive approach on all aspects of the role
· Have A full clean manual driver's license and willing to drive as part of the role
Applicants must have one of the following qualifications: · QQI Level 7 Bachelor of Arts in Applied Social Studies (Disability) - Open Training College;
· Level 7 award in Social Care/Studies delivered by an Institute of Technology, DIT or National University of Ireland;
· A qualification received outside the State recognised by NARIC as equivalent to the Irish Level 7 award.
· Third Level Qualification in Nursing
Plus: An appropriate Qualification in Health or Social Care Management
Salary Scale: Successful candidates will be paid in line with 2023 HSE revised consolidated Social Care Leader pay scale point 1; € 55,793 – point 7; € 65,155 per annum based on working a 39 hour week
