Working closely with the Head Chef and wider kitchen team, the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining food quality, upholding hygiene standards, and helping to deliver an exceptional dining experience.
Key Responsibilities: Take full ownership of an assigned section and ensure timely mise en place for service Prepare and plate dishes with precision and consistency under the guidance of the Head Chef Maintain high standards of hygiene and ensure full HACCP compliance at all times Work collaboratively with both front and back of house to ensure a seamless guest experience Communicate respectfully with the team regarding dietary needs, special requests, and VIP service Support and mentor junior kitchen staff as required Ensure portion control and supplier sourcing are in line with kitchen standards Store and handle food in line with hygiene regulations and maintain temperature records Adhere to professional presentation standards, including personal hygiene and uniform dress code Report any operational or equipment issues to senior staff promptly Promote a positive, respectful, and team-focused working environment Candidate Requirements: Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role within a quality-driven kitchen Passion for food and excellence in presentation and service Proven ability to work under pressure and maintain high culinary standards Solid understanding of HACCP and food safety procedures Strong organisational and communication skills Flexible with working hours, including weekends and shifts Consistent, dependable, and professional approach to work Eligibility to work in Ireland
