Job Summary
This is a temporary opportunity to work as a Catering Administrator for a high-end organisation in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a busy catering or food and beverage department, excellent communication skills, and strong organisational abilities.
About the Role
* Administration duties: accounts processing, office duties, reservations management, filing and records management, provision of monthly Management Information.
* Operational duties: communicating with customers, planning for the week ahead, preparing customer letters, organising documentation, maintaining accurate records.
* EPOS duties: administration and function of the EPOS system, financial reporting, stock control, management of customer accounts, updating menu items and price points.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Communicating effectively with customers, colleagues, and managers.
* Preparing and distributing information to all departments.
* Maintaining accurate records and files.
* Assisting with stocktake processes and monthly reporting.
* Processing online purchases and delivery dockets.
* Updating the EPOS system with new menu items and price points.
Requirements
* Previous experience in a busy catering or food and beverage department.
* EPOS knowledge and previous administration experience.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong numerical abilities with a focus on accuracy and analysis of data.
* Excellent judgement and decision-making abilities.
* Strong organisational and time management skills.
