Job Title: Social Care Manager
We are pleased to partner with a Social Care provider for young people and adults who have disabilities and complex needs in a residential setting. Our client provides residential support to their service users, utilizing a strengths-based approach to ensure each individual has the opportunity to live their best life.
About the Role
This is a full-time permanent position based onsite at the centre, working Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm, with on-call support as required. As a Social Care Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of care professionals in delivering high-quality care services.
Key Responsibilities
* To lead and manage a team of care professionals in providing residential support to individuals with disabilities and complex needs.
* To develop and implement person-centered care plans that promote independence and empowerment.
* To work closely with the service users, families, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless transitions and continuity of care.
* To maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to relevant legislation and regulations.
* To participate in regular staff supervision and training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
* A Level 7 qualification in Social Care/Applied Social Studies or Social Work, or a related field with intention to complete a Level 7 in Social Care.
* Hold or be enrolled in a management qualification suitable for a health/social care setting.
* 4 years post-qualification full-time work experience in a social care setting.
* Experience as a Manager in an ACIMS registered centre for at least 2 of the past 3 years (desirable).
