Teamworx is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Deli Supervisor to join an esteemed convenience and supermarket group in their Central Dublin location. Now employing into the hundreds within their many branches across Dublin and Meath, with more soon to follow, they are now looking to hire future leaders in this organization.
The Deli Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of the deli department, ensuring high standards of product quality, customer service, and cleanliness. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a passion for food and customer service. We are seeking an individual with experience in Catering, Chef roles, Cafe management, or Deli supervision, or even a senior Deli Staff member who would love to be in charge of a fresh deli department, someone who is eager to advance and develop and take on a new challenge.
Our client will offer a rate of €14.90 per hour plus benefits.

* Proven management experience, organizing and supervising the work of others.
* Fresh food knowledge.
* Excellent customer service.

* A strong understanding of food safety and HACCP knowledge.
Responsibilities for this Retail Deli Supervisor Job:
* Oversee the running of the fresh food department,
* Rostering, planning, making lunch schedules, and ensuring deadlines are met,
* Responsible for a highly skilled team, planning out their workload, directing work, and ensuring tasks are completed correctly.
* Inventory and stock management, keeping back stock to appropriate levels,
* Working closely with the General Manager and stakeholders in the group to get the best performance out of the department, increasing sales, productivity, margins, waste management, and controlling shrinkage,
* Taking full responsibility for proper management of hygiene and HACCP records and all other relatable paperwork for the department,
* Maintaining high standards across the business,
* Performance management of your team, ensuring your team is reaching maximum efficiency in their work, training, and coaching staff, play an active role in recruitment and onboarding people to your department.
