Position Overview: Reporting to the CEO, Drogheda Port Company is seeking a highly skilled and resourceful Manager to support all key functions across the organisation. This multifaceted role is ideal for a versatile individual looking for a new challenge. As a key member of the senior management team, the Manager will provide operational and administrative assistance across all aspects of the business, with a strong focus on project management, stakeholder relations and continuous improvement. The successful candidate will help foster a positive and efficient work environment that continuously strives for excellence Key Responsibilities: Assist the CEO in completing the restructure of subsidiary companies. Ensure legal and regulatory compliance in collaboration with advisors Manage and oversee the establishment of efficient reporting procedures for Drogheda Port Company and its subsidiaries. Analyse financial and operational reports and provide insights to senior management. Coordinate board meetings and sub-committee meetings. Prepare agendas and documents for board and committee meetings. Facilitate meetings, ensuring key decisions are captured and followed up. Build strong relationships with customers and explore new business opportunities. Represent the company at stakeholder meetings. Undertake various project tasks as assigned. Lead cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery within timelines and budgets. Report project progress and updates to the CEO. Assist the CEO in managing the management team. Help develop departmental strategies aligned with company goals. Facilitate management team meetings and promote collaboration. Monitor and ensure that targets and KPIs are being met. Develop and track KPIs across departments, ensuring targets are met. Conduct performance evaluations and support staff development Candidate Requirements We are seeking applications from candidates who meet the following criteria: A relevant degree is essential; a masters degree is desirable. Strong proven track record in leadership, project management, and operational management. Financial and cost accounting experience. Strong general management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively. Excellent stakeholder management, interpersonal, and communication skills. Proficiency in IT, including Microsoft Office (Excel in particular) and social media. Effective organizational and problem-solving abilities, with flexibility to adapt to challenges. Demonstrated efficient multitasking skills Desirable Experience in a similar role within a port, maritime, or relevant sector. Proven expertise in change management, mergers, and restructuring.
