The Role: We are seeking a highly professional individual with experience in the pharmaceutical or other regulated industries to join our team. This role will be responsible for identifying and cultivating new business opportunities for EDAC, whilst ensuring the smooth integration of EDAC and its managed services (consultancy, project management, IoT, asset tagging, bund management etc.), with clients' existing systems and processes from initial client engagement to final implementation. This role bridges business development and integration, focusing on client relationship management, contract negotiation, and overseeing project timelines and deliverables to ensure alignment with client requirements and company objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Development & Client Engagement: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in key market sectors. Conduct market research and analysis to understand industry trends and client needs. Develop and present tailored proposals and sales pitches. Collaborate with marketing to drive targeted business development campaigns.
2. Project Integration & Compliance: Provide Chartered Engineer sign-off for relevant environmental and engineering projects. Ensure compliance with industry regulations, particularly in pharma and regulated sectors. Develop and implement project integration plans, tracking key milestones and deliverables. Source and identify suppliers for monitoring equipment with seamless integration capabilities.
3. Client Relationship Management: Act as the primary client liaison throughout project engagement. Ensure a high level of client satisfaction through regular feedback and service improvements. Identify opportunities for repeat business and service expansion.
4. Performance Analysis & Reporting: Track KPIs for business development and project integration activities. Conduct post-project reviews to refine best practices and improve service delivery. Prepare regular reports for senior management on project performance and client engagement.
5. Collaboration & Representation: Work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, finance, and operations teams. Represent EDAC at industry events, networking opportunities, and client meetings across Ireland and the UK.

1. Project Management: Strong ability to plan, execute, and oversee projects effectively.
2. Business Acumen: Understanding of market dynamics, client needs, and revenue growth strategies.

7. Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client engagement and stakeholder presentations.
Qualifications & Experience:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or a related field (MBA preferred).
2. 5+ years of experience in business development, project management, or engineering.
3. Chartered Engineer status (CEng) is highly desirable.
4. Experience in pharmaceuticals, life sciences, or other regulated industries is a strong advantage.
5. Proficiency in project management and CRM software.
6. Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards.
