Description:We are hiring for our client, a leading Civil Engineering Consultancy, who is seeking an experienced PSDP (Safety Professional) to join their growing team in Dublin. The Role:In this position, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a proactive safety culture across diverse construction projects. Key responsibilities include:
Discharging the role of PSDP on construction projects.
Attending client, design, and site meetings.
Preparing preliminary safety and health plans and compiling safety files.
Carrying out site visits and coordinating with all stakeholders.
Reviewing competence of duty holders and preparing safety reports.
Supporting legal cases concerning health and safety as required.
Working alongside contractors (PSCS) to ensure compliance and safety standards are met.
The Person:Our client is looking for a driven and detail-oriented professional with the following qualifications and experience:
In-depth knowledge of safety and health legislation and its practical application in complex projects.
Degree in Construction or a related field.
Ideally, experience with Construction Safety and Health training.
Chartered Membership of Engineers Ireland, IOSH, or similar is advantageous.
Occupational Health and Safety qualifications and relevant experience are desirable.
