Due to continued expansion of eir evo we are now seeking to recruit an experienced Desktop Support Engineer that endeavours to become an integral part of our Managed Services Team, working on a dedicated team for a prestigious client, supporting an evolving and exciting multi-technology IT environment.
The successful candidate will work on and receive exposure to different technologies, Microsoft Servers, Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, VMWare, Citrix, Cloud (Azure), as well as the latest Microsoft applications & solutions.
The role would involve: Desktop Support for customer Provision accounts and hardware Supporting Windows Desktops, Printers, Outlook, Networks, Ms. Office, O365, Autopilot Support of the MyPay Application Maintenance of the platforms in SSO Freshdesk (MyPay ticket system for help desk) and ISpring (MyPay e-learning).
Support Azure Virtual Desktop, AD, DNS.
DHCP, GPO, Office 365 Maintain and build the current documentation in place Hardware troubleshooting Interacting with and managing 3rd parties Imaging and Deployment, Intune Manage File Permissions and Access Rights, Security/Distribution Group creation and management Configuration and Support of Mobile Devices Day to day dealings with the customer Requirement to be onsite in Portlaoise office up to two days per week Working with wider eir evo PMO team on project engagement Experience 4+ years Working in a deskside support/system Infrastructure environment (required) Windows Servers, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, MS Office - Level 2 support Office 365 experience required.
Customer Services, Call Handling It would be preferred if the candidate had one of the following accreditations and experience Microsoft Specialist certification in Windows 10 A Microsoft MCP for Client or Server OS Comptia A+ Comptia Net+ Successful candidates will receive exposure to All Microsoft Operating Systems Windows Servers Virtualization Vmware, Citrix, Hyperv SMB Networking Environments Unified Communications Remote Access Solutions Candidates must be eligible to work full time and long term in the location specified or currently hold a valid appropriate long term work Visa to apply.
