Site Supervisor / Engineer (Civils)
We are seeking an experienced Site Agent to support project delivery across all aspects of construction, ensuring projects are completed within agreed timelines and budget frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage multiple projects in urban and rural environments.
* Liaise with clients and client representatives for successful project delivery and relationship building.
* Review and amend drawings with attention to detail.
* Foster a leadership environment within the project site team.
* Collaborate with Contracts Managers and other Site Agents to manage work and resource requirements.
* Ensure customer expectations are met while building confidence and trust.
* Continuously evaluate and improve project processes.
* Apply innovative technology to enhance services and streamline delivery.
* Mentor junior site team members and identify training needs.
* Monitor site progress, ensuring work is completed on time and within budget.
* Oversee material delivery and manage any discrepancies as needed.
* Ensure all work complies with client requirements, safety legislation, and legal obligations.
* Supervise traffic management and on-site health and safety.
* Coordinate with local authorities for pre- and post-installation footway inspections.
* Work with the workflow department on programming and scheduling tasks.
* Provide clients with status reports and serve as the primary point of contact.
* Handle customer complaints professionally.
* Assist clients in maximizing the value of their infrastructure.
Candidate Requirements
* Full, clean driver's license is essential.
* A qualification in engineering or a related field is desirable.
* 2-3 years experience in civils, drainage, or utilities (water & electricity).
* Commercial awareness of project costs.
* Experience managing site activities and multiple teams.
* Strong knowledge of HSQE requirements and ground support systems.
* Proficiency in computer systems and software.
* Confident, motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
* Excellent time management skills to achieve targets.
* Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
* Integrity and a commitment to confidentiality and privacy.
