Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable Administrator with expertise in managing multi-currency transactions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and ensuring smooth financial operations across multiple currencies. This role requires excellent analytical skills, knowledge of international financial practices, and a keen eye for accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Receivable:
* Generate, process, and issue invoices for international clients in multiple currencies.
* Monitor outstanding balances, send payment reminders, and manage collections.
* Post and allocate customer payments accurately and reconcile AR accounts.
* Maintain accurate records of customer accounts and follow up on discrepancies.
Accounts Payable:
* Process vendor invoices and match with purchase orders for accurate payment processing.
* Handle multi-currency payments and ensure accurate currency conversions.
* Verify and post transactions, ensuring timely payments to international vendors.
* Reconcile AP accounts and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
General Financial Operations:
* Maintain up-to-date exchange rates for accurate transaction postings.
* Assist with cash flow management by forecasting currency-specific payment schedules.
* Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities, including reconciliation reports.
* Collaborate with the finance team on multi-currency accounting and reporting initiatives.
Requirements
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
* Proven experience in accounts payable and receivable, with exposure to multi-currency operations.
* Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Zoho, or Xero) and Excel.
* Strong understanding of foreign exchange rates, currency conversions, and international payment processes.
* Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage vendor and client relationships.
