Head of Data and Analytics Transformation
PTSB is seeking applications for a newly created senior leadership role, the Head of Data and Analytics Transformation. Reporting directly to the Head of Central Data & Analytics Office (CDAO) and as a member of our bank Senior Leadership team, you will be accountable for the ‘Build’ Pillar within the CDAO function, with responsibility for leading teams and capabilities across Data Architecture, Data Engineering and Data DevOps.
The Head of Data & Analytics Transformation will lead the strategic design, development and optimisation of the bank’s data infrastructure and architecture to support scalable analytics, data processing and management. This role will drive the data strategy, ensuring the efficient acquisition, integration, and provisioning of data to support business objectives across a range of initiatives. You will support strategic change initiatives by leading the delivery of modern data architecture and data engineering solutions that enable business outcomes.
You will work closely with the wider CDAO senior leadership team across the 3 pillars of “Engage”, “Build” and “Run”. You will work in tandem with the Head of Data Operations & Services who leads the “Run” pillar in maintaining and sustaining Data Operations, Data Governance, and D&A Platforms. You will work closely with the Head of Business Partnering & Advanced Analytics who leads the “Engage” pillar to support the data and analytics needs of the enterprise.
For this critical role, you will have an established track record of data-driven change delivery in a leadership role within data engineering or data architecture, also strong knowledge of ETL processes, data modelling, and data pipeline development, managing and mentoring teams to high performance and in depth knowledge of the regulatory obligations related to the success of this role.
This job is a Controlled Function CF2 as defined by the Central Bank Reform Act 2010 Regulations 2011. Any appointment will be conditional on the company being satisfied that the appointee meets the requirements as set out in the Fitness and Probity standards issued by the Central Bank. This requires the company to complete prescribed due diligence to assess the appointee’s fitness and probity.
As a CF 2 role holder you will also be subject to the Common Conduct Standards under the Central Bank of Ireland’s Individual Accountability Framework and will be required to take reasonable steps to ensure the Conduct Standards are met. The role holder will be required to possess and maintain the appropriate technical knowledge required to perform the role and to understand the regulatory obligations to which they are subject as a CF, to include, without limitation, the Common Conduct Standards and the Fitness and Probity Standards.
