Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Payroll Administration Supervisor to join our Central Finance function. This lead role will be responsible for processing end-to-end fortnightly payroll and providing support for Grants administration.
Key Responsibilities:
* Process fort
* Provide expert support, training, and guidance on payroll processes and procedures.
* Support general BAU work, audits, and ad-hoc duties as required.
* Backfill the BAU aspects of Payroll.
* Process fortnightly Payroll and deductions for staff and pensioners (approx. 300 and growing).
* Ensure and drive compliance and adherence to the policies set down by Revenue.
* Prepare necessary reconciliations and returns such as Pension and CSO in line with deadlines.
* Prepare high quality reports and ad-hoc returns to external stakeholders.
* Provide inputs relating to Payroll for cash flow forecasting of payments.
* Coordinate with multiple stakeholders to support the payroll administration process.
* Collaborate on projects as part of a continuous improvement program.
* Assist in the development of Finance Systems upgrades, enhancements, and process developments.
Requirements:
* A minimum of a NFQ degree level 7 qualification.
* At least 5 years relevant Irish Payroll experience with three of those years in a finance role.
* Strong MS Office and MS Excel skills.
* A team player with strong organisational and time management skills.
* Capacity to proactively contribute to team tasks.
* Strong stakeholder management and ability to build rapport.
* A can-do and flexible approach with the ability to organise and prioritise workloads to meet deadlines.
