The software we build in Product Development Unit OSS makes it possible for billions of people to connect with each other, surf the web, engage with social media on their smart devices every day. Exciting opportunities exist for cloud native developers, data scientists and Radio Access Network engineers within our R&D department to craft the future of the evolving Networked Society.
Within Engineering Unit Network Management (EU NM), our unit leads the development of Ericsson Intelligent Controller (EIC) and corresponding Automation Applications (rApps) that enable higher operational efficiency, improved network performance and better mobile subscriber experience.
With EIC we aim to enable an open ecosystem for innovation and development of rApps with a short lead time from idea to prototype and production.
We are building an innovation team of self-starters, that can talk Radio with customers, work wonders with data and rapidly develop prototype ideas. We are looking for an experienced data scientist for this team that will engage with domain experts, understand the automation objectives and develop algorithms and models to meet project needs.
What you will do:
• Work with domain experts to produce ML project objectives
• Produce and validate working models to meet ML project objectives
• Work with SW development team on innovation prototyping projects for mobile network operators.
• Explore innovative automation technologies and solutions.
The skills you bring:
• Fleshing out AI/ML project objectives with domain experts
• Data exploration, data engineering and model training and scoring
• Supporting SW development team implementation based on selected models
• A passion to innovate and build something new
