We are recruiting a Senior Scientist – Climate Change (SEA/EIA) for a multidisciplinary consultancy that offers the following benefits package:

Your job will include delivering impactful climate action and environmental projects for the public and private sector, aiding the expansion of the business and working closely with fellow professionals. This position offers exposure to a broad range of areas within the climate action, sustainability, and environmental spheres.
Responsibilities
* Project management
* Coordination and technical delivery of EIA and SEA
* Development of Climate Action/Sustainability Strategies and Plans
* Carrying out Climate Action/Sustainability related research and studies
* Providing expert climate, sustainability and environmental advice and technical assistance
* Business development, marketing and tendering
Skills / Qualifications
* Educated to degree level in a relevant climate, sustainability or environmental discipline
* A minimum of 5-7 years post-graduate experience working in the areas of climate action, sustainability, or environmental assessment
* Chartered status in relevant discipline
* Excellent knowledge of climate and environmental policy and legislation
* Proven track record in project management, climate action planning, sustainability strategy and planning, EIA and SEA. Team and client management desirable
* Excellent attention to detail
* Be flexible and a good team player
* Excellent report writing and technical reviewing skills
* Experience of engaging with external stakeholders, regulatory bodies and sub-contractors
