Tactical Operations Manager
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Tactical Operations Manager to join our team at PRL Central Office in Dublin.
This role will play a pivotal part in supporting our growth objectives by managing client relationships and ensuring operational excellence within the Tactical Department and Warehousing Operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Account Management & Client Relations
o Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients
o Communicate effectively with clients to understand project requirements and address queries or complaints promptly
o Prepare and present detailed sales reports and analyses to management
o Collaborate with the Accounts team to ensure the accurate status of all client accounts
o Inform clients about updated pricing, services, and relevant changes
o Coordinate with the internal Client Management team to address ad-hoc support needs
* Operational & Financial Oversight
o Report and coordinate with the Account Manager and Finance Department to analyse monthly sales performance
o Conduct budget analysis to ensure expenditure aligns with financial plans and delivers maximum value
o Oversee data analysis to identify trends, measure performance, and drive operational improvements
o Participate in the review of internal and external processes to create operational efficiencies
* Communication & Team Collaboration
o Maintain effective communication between internal teams and clients
o Ensure personnel are fully aware of operational requirements, performance targets, and achievements
o Foster collaboration across departments, including finance, recruitment, and operations
* Developing Standards & Leadership
o Assist in the creation and monitoring of job descriptions, responsibilities, and KPIs
o Support the development and implementation of appraisal systems
o Mentor, train, and coach staff to achieve their professional goals
* Support for Business Development
o Contribute to identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts or enhance service offerings
o Provide input and support for quotes, contracts, and pricing as needed
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree, ideally in Marketing, Business, or a related field
* 2+ years of experience in a similar role, ideally in FMCG
* Proven track record of delivering high levels of customer service to both internal and external clients
* Advanced Excel reporting skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office products
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in budget analysis and data analysis
Salary Range: €60,000 - €80,000 per year
