An opportunity has now arisen for an IT Field Engineer to join their team.We are seeking an IT Support Engineer with a track record of dealing with on-site installations to help drive their company forward. You’ll benefit from training and excellent career progression prospects.You will be responsible for on-site installation, configuration, and maintenance of all client hardware. This will include Windows Servers, computers, laptops and printers etc.As an IT Field Engineer, you will also install, configure and maintain client software, such as MS 365 and Azure, Virtual environments, Hyper V, VMWare, Veeam, communication equipment including switches, routers, firewalls and mobile devices.Your other duties will include:Problem solving and troubleshooting issues on-site and remotelyCustomer account managementTraining and transferring knowledge to clientsManaging and communicating with 3rd party vendorsTo be considered, you must have:Experience in an IT support or field engineer role, dealing with on-site installations, configurations, and maintenance of client hardwareSound knowledge of MS 365, Azure and ADServer installation/migration and administration experience including Virtual environments (Hyper V, VMWare, Veeam)Knowledge of firewalls, routers, switches and remote access serversA full driving licenseAs an IT Field Engineer, you must have excellent interpersonal and communications skills, both written and verbal.
