This top tier aircraft leasing company has a growing fleet with a focus on new technology aircraft. It is expanding its technical team and seeking an asset manager. About the Role:
As a Technical Asset Manager, you will lead the charge in managing technical data through best-in-class systems and processes. Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, you will streamline workflows, enhance data accessibility, and develop innovative methods for data storage, analysis, and visualization. Your expertise will support the acquisition, leasing, and sale of aircraft assets, ensuring precision and efficiency every step of the way.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Data Management: Maintain accurate specifications for all aircraft and engines, oversee asset configuration, and manage technical records throughout their lifecycle.
* Audits & Compliance: Coordinate on-time, within-budget technical audits and manage aircraft audits schedules along with the recording of technical data in the system.
* Systems Expertise: Collaborate with IT and external providers to optimize management reports, analytics, and data visibility.
* Analysis: Support maintenance reserve calculations, aircraft trading, and remarketing teams with up-to-date technical and financial data.
* Forecasting: Assist in developing fly forward reports, engine forecasts, fleet-wide issue tracking, and maintenance cash flow models.
What We’re Looking For:
* Hands-on knowledge of Aerlytix CMS, Sysco Lease Manager, or similar systems.
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with data analytics tools.
* Expertise in digital records management systems is highly desirable.
* A functional understanding of aircraft technical practices and processes.
* Proven experience (8+ years) in aircraft leasing or maintenance within a lessor, airline, or consultancy.
