About the Role
The Finance Assistant will assist in the financial control and reporting environments for TG Eakin Ltd within the Eakin Group.
They will report directly to the TGE Finance Manager and work primarily with existing accounts department personnel.
The Finance Assistant will be responsible for providing relevant, timely and accurate financial and operating information as directed.
Key Activities
Financial Administration Duties include:
* Monthly and year-end close processes for TG Eakin Ltd (TGE) and Eakin R&D Ltd (ERD)
* Preparation of weekly and monthly payroll for TGE Ltd and ERD Ltd
* Providing payroll back-up to other group companies
* Administration of pension schemes
* Bank reconciliations
* Journal entries
* Balance sheet reconciliations
Key Skills
The successful candidate will have:
* A qualified accounting technician or similar qualification
* Experience of running a payroll system
* Experience of managing purchase and sales ledgers
* Proven competency in maintaining comprehensive audit files
* Strong knowledge of computer-based presentation software
* Experience of working in a busy accounts office environment
