Our client is a leading company in the construction industry, and they are seeking a Construction Sales Manager to join their team.
As a Construction Sales Manager, you will play a crucial role in our organization’s growth. You’ll be at the forefront of increasing overall sales, profits, and market position. Your responsibilities include developing project system specifications, collaborating with architects, surveyors, main contractors, and building owners to offer our client’s top-notch range of products.

Responsibilities:
1. Develop project specifications and offer technical and product information support to new and existing clients.
2. Secure new projects by proactively seeking opportunities in the marketplace and responding to customer requests.
3. Manage and develop customer accounts, establishing new customer accounts.
4. Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
5. Conduct CPD presentations to architects and main contractors.
6. Visit building sites as required and write site surveys.
7. Manage orders as per specification by referring to price lists and product literature.
8. Update the company’s CRM system – Salesforce, with relevant client information.
9. Work towards specific targets and KPIs.
10. Review targets and KPIs with management on a regular basis.
11. Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace intelligence on pricing, products, new products, etc.
12. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
13. Undertake training as required.
14. Assist in product and application development.
Requirements:
1. A background in the construction industry.
2. A qualification in construction or architectural technology would be an advantage.
3. Good knowledge of basic construction technology.
4. Enthusiastic and self-motivated with excellent time management skills.
5. Good IT skills with experience and knowledge of the Microsoft Office package.
6. Previous experience with CRM and ERP systems.
7. Ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail.
8. Team player capable of working with others to achieve company goals.
9. Excellent administration, communication, organizational skills, and customer service.
10. Knowledge and understanding of NBS for high-level specification accuracy.
