Primary Responsibilities:
We're looking for a Senior Network Pricing Consultant who can collaborate with internal partners, anticipate future industry needs and has strong financial acumen. Key responsibilities include:
* Monitor payor financial performance to identify opportunities to improve performance and the client relationship
* Collaborate with internal partners to ensure ongoing execution of processes are in line with contractual obligations
* Assist in data generation and collateral for senior leadership business updates, providing explanations and information to others on the most complex issues
* Utilize exceptional organisational skills in the management of OptumRx Pharmacy contracts
* Actively consult with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to ensure appropriate business content is incorporated into analytic approaches
Required Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* An undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
* Proven experience in contract analysis, contract management or review strategy development and contract redlining
* Strong communication and influencing skills with internal and external stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:
While not essential, advanced degrees (MBA or PharmD) and experience in managed healthcare or pharmacy benefit management would be beneficial.
