Role Description
The Internal Financial Sales Executive role is sales focused with an emphasis on fostering connections and cultivating partnerships to establish strong and enduring relationships.
You are responsible for a portfolio of clients and relevant SME partners whom you will ensure both are aware of GRID’s products and tools.
You will spend your time engaging with wonderful business owners with the goal of creating long-lasting relationships.
You will find it massively rewarding helping hundreds of small businesses grow and build their financial health.
Key Duties:
With your assigned client base of business you will be responsible for four key activities that will drive overall portfolio value.
New Business Generation
Build a deep understanding of your portfolio by
1. Understanding the strengths and weaknesses of your portfolio
2. Building rapport with high potential businesses and business owners within your portfolio
3. Understanding your portfolio potential and where to target your effort
4. Identifying funding needs and opportunities to sell to SMEs in your business
Build awareness of GRID’s cash advance product with:
1. Handle newly registered companies originated through the GRID website.
2. Call scheduling with your portfolio companies
Partnership Activation
Build rapport with assigned partnerships that will raise brand awareness and create new lead gen opportunities.
Attending relevant networking events to create new relationships with business owners.
Renewals
1. Ensure a material amount of your portfolio customers renew their funding facilities at least once per year.
2. Ensure there is a systematic approach to targeting your portfolio and minimizing the risk of customer loss.
Reactivation
1. For your portfolio customers that have churned ensure that there is a systematic approach to follow up and reactivation

Requirements:
Mandatory
1. An ambition to promote financial well-being in Ireland
2. Relevant qualifications in a business or other similar degree
3. Experience working with SMEs and business owners
4. Energetic and enthusiastic self-starter looking to grow and develop
5. Advanced Excel skills and comfortable with web-enabled applications
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
7. Knowledge of financial products and services
8. Experience in B2B sales and relationship management
9. Ability to work independently and in a team
10. Experience working within a small business in a similar role
11. Experience of selling to SMEs
12. Strong financial sales and negotiation skills
