Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
* Support colleagues in delivering business goals as needed
* Share knowledge with new team members to aid succession within the business
* Escalate any concerns or issues promptly
* Report any issues to the quality department immediately
* Conduct spot or continuous checks to ensure customer technical and quality requirements are met
* Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives
* Maintain constant adherence to company, customer and legal requirements regarding food safety and quality assurance
* Document quality records and collect ingredient samples as necessary for quality analysis
* Address employee queries and concerns in a timely fashion
* Maintain exceptional service, quality and workmanship standards
* Assist with holiday scheduling and overtime
* Promote a culture of health and safety excellence among employees through maintenance of a safe working environment
* Achieve business plan targets by monitoring and reviewing KPIs
* Utilise Insight (internal ERP software) effectively
* IDentify training needs of direct reports
* Resolve employee grievances and disciplinary matters in conjunction with management and HR
* Motivate, coach and organise teams to enhance effectiveness
* Be flexible, working across rotating teams on various shifts
Requirements and Expectations:
* Minimum 2 years of experience in food manufacturing
* Third-level education is highly desirable
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Exceptional organisational skills and project management expertise required
