Commercial Development Manager - Limerick
Our client, a high-profile organisation in the Limerick & wider mid-west region, is expanding their leadership group and has engaged with Cpl to help recruit an experienced Commercial Development Manager to join the team and take on this newly created role.
The Role:
As a key part of the operations and leadership team, you will primarily be responsible for planning and managing income and sales streams, negotiating funding, developing new long-term client/partner relationships, and expanding engagement with the existing client/partner networks.
In addition to the above duties, you will also develop and implement new multi-year commercial and growth strategies, increase the scope of the organisation's business activities, liaise with external specialists in their industry sector, attend events/networking opportunities, and represent the values of the organisation to the best of your ability.
Your Skills & Experience that we need:
1. 3rd level degree qualified ideally in business studies, commerce or a related discipline.
2. 4-5+ years’ experience in sales, client account or other commercially focused management role.
3. Experience in working in the not-for-profit, arts or media/entertainment sectors would be an advantage.
4. Proven experience in strategic planning.
5. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to engage with colleagues and partners at all levels.
6. Strong IT knowledge and ability to lead projects.
The Offer:
This is a permanent onsite role based in Limerick, with a base salary, depending on the candidate’s experience, expected to be in the €55K+ per annum range plus benefits. The organisation is based in Limerick city, but the role can be hybrid with 2-3 days based from home/remote if desired, so may also suit candidates based outside of the traditional commuting zone of Limerick.
