Job Summary
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Field Service Engineer to join a new organisation in Tipperary on a permanent contract. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in electrical engineering with significant experience in the installation and qualification of machinery and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
* Installation and Commissioning of New Equipment: Execute and document IQ, OQ, PQ (Installation, Operation and Performance Qualification) for systems supported by the business.
* Service and Maintenance: Ensure systems installed at customer sites are functioning correctly and perform routine maintenance tasks.
* Repair and Testing: Diagnose and repair electrical, electronic, and mechanical equipment associated with our product offering.
* Design and Development: Assist in the design and development of electrical, electronic, and mechanical equipment as part of the continuous improvement program.
* Collaboration and Risk Assessment: Participate in cross-functional team meetings and risk assessments to develop validation strategies.
* Quality and Compliance: Adhere to 6S, lean principles, and GMP/GDP standards within the team.
* Maintenance and Equipment Management: Ensure all company equipment is properly maintained and in good working order throughout its lifecycle.
Requirements
* Trade Qualification: Essential trade qualification with a level 7 in Engineering, preferably with relevant industry certifications.
* Experience: 3-5 years of experience in electrical/mechanical machine build/support, with a focus on installation and qualification of machinery and equipment.
* Skills: Excellent troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
