Our Client, a leading MedTech company in Leitrim, are seeking an Accounts Assistant to join their team.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
1. Accounts Payable/Account Receivable.
2. Reconciliations.
3. Assisting month end process and management accounts.
4. Assist with statutory audits.
5. Ad hoc accounts duties.
6. Adhere to Plant Safety requirements and Health & Safety requirements relating to your work, assuming responsibility for those aspects of the OH&S System over which you have control to ensure the health and safety of yourself and others.
7. Be aware of the potential environmental impacts associated with your work and the implications of non-conformance.
8. Contribute to enhanced energy performance by conservation of energy where possible (Lighting, Equipment, Air Conditioning etc).
9. Contribute to the continual improvement activities of the OH&S, Environmental and Energy Management systems through participation, providing feedback/ suggestions for improvement and by reporting accidents, dangerous occurrence, near miss/ illness, good catch and environmental incidents in a timely manner.
Job Requirements
1. Business/Accounting qualification.
2. Excellent computer skills with high-level competency in MS Excel.
3. Previous experience in similar role would be an advantage.
4. Strong ability to communicate effectively.
5. Motivated and self-starting, ability to work on your own initiative.
