Main Purpose:
This position is responsible to meet the goals and objectives of the organisation by effectively assisting customers in the procurement, scheduling, and delivery of products by collaborating with production, purchasing, sales, scheduling, inventory and other departments as needed.
Job Description:
1. Receive, interpret and produce Customer orders timely through a variety of tools; phone, email, fax, mail and online, utilising computerized ordering system.
2. Receive and respond to inquiries and issues, follow through to resolution.
3. Contact current and previous customers for orders.
4. Monitor orders from intake to delivery.
5. Work closely with inventory to keep within organisational metrics.
6. Review and update pricing calculations as needed.
7. Promptly alert Sales, Customer and internal management teams regarding issues relating to meeting Customer order requirements.
8. Ability to handle complex issues.
9. Meet or exceed department goals and metrics.
10. May be involved in Customer visits and training.
11. Input production data into systems and spreadsheets.
12. All other duties as assigned.
Required Attributes:
1. 2 years Customer Service experience.
2. Experience of manufacturing environment is desirable.
3. Knowledge of SAP Business One would be advantageous.
4. Ability to read, interpret, follow and effectively respond to written and verbal inquiries/requests.
5. Ability to calculate complex mathematical equations.
6. Ability to build effective collaborative relationships.
7. Work independently and as part of a team.
8. Solid working knowledge of customer service processes and related manufacturing.
9. Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point), Access, Visio, Teams, and Outlook.
10. Maintains strict confidentiality and protects privacy of confidential/sensitive information.
11. Exceptional time management and organisation skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously establishing priorities to meet deadlines.
12. Ability to communicate effectively (verbal, written, and presentations) with executive leadership, staff, and internal and external clients.
13. Proactive; exercises sound judgment and decision making; able to identify problems and needs and develop solutions and/or options.
14. Self-confident, self-motivated, polished professional who thrives in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
