The Finance, HR and Admin Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing all financial, human resources, and administrative functions.
The Finance, HR and Administration Manager reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer.
This role is central to ensuring strong financial stewardship, efficient HR practices, and streamlined administrative processes. The successful candidate will work closely with the Board, CEO and management team, contributing to the strategic direction and sustainability of the organisation. Clann Mór has a turnover of €3.3 million and a staff of 65.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning and Leadership
* Contribute to strategic planning, providing insights on financial sustainability, workforce planning, and resource allocation.
* Ensure effective risk management to address financial and operational risks.
* Prepare reports and analysis for the CEO and Board on key finance, HR, and administrative matters.
* Manage and mentor a small team, fostering a collaborative and productive environment.
Finance
* Ensure the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements and management accounts in line with relevant financial standards (SORP).
* Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
* Develop business cases for funding.
* Maintain oversight of cash flow, funding, and grant reporting.
* Maintain and continuously review an effective control framework.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant statutory and funder’s requirements, including financial reporting, charity regulations, and audit processes.
* Liaise with external auditors, overseeing the annual audit process and implementing recommendations as needed.
Human Resources Management
* Develop, agree and implement plans to develop the capacity and capability of Clann Mór’s management and staff to achieve its strategic objectives.
* Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and retention processes, ensuring compliance with employment legislation and best-practice.
* Implement and maintain HR policies and procedures, including performance management, employee relations, and staff rostering.
* Work with the CEO to foster a positive workplace culture in line with Clann Mór’s values and address employee engagement, motivation, and wellbeing.
* Manage payroll and benefits administration in partnership with external providers where necessary.
Administrative Management
* Oversee the day-to-day administrative operations, ensuring efficient support services for Clan Mór.
* Develop and implement systems and processes for effective administration and data management.
* Ensure compliance with GDPR and HIQA requirements, and maintain up-to-date records.
* Collaborate with other units to streamline workflows and support operational efficiency.
Other
* Undertake such other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the CEO.
* Represent Clann Mór where requested to meet with stakeholders.
* Communicate effectively with Clann Mór staff.

Minimum Qualifications
* Qualified accountant (CPA, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) with experience in financial management.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance and administration, ideally within the charity or public sector.
* Strong understanding of charity finance regulations and compliance requirements.
* Proven HR management experience, including employee relations, recruitment, and policy development.
* Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities, solve problems, and work collaboratively.
* Experience in a leadership or senior management role, ideally in a social care setting.
* Understanding of GDPR and data protection principles.
* Experience in working with the HSE and HIQA.
* Knowledge of Irish charity regulations and governance requirements.
Other Requirements
* Requirement to be available outside normal office hours on occasions.
* This position is subject to satisfactory Garda Vetting.
* Eligible to work in Ireland and possess all necessary permits/visas if applicable.
* The successful applicant must have their own car and hold a full, clean drivers’ licence.

Clann Mór Residential & Respite CLG is a Community Based Residential & Respite service, based in Co. Meath. We currently provide services in Navan, Ashbourne, and Kells. The service supports adults with mild and moderate intellectual disabilities, to live in its community-based homes, or to avail of residential respite provision. The office base is currently Navan, Co Meath.
Clann Mór is a voluntary organisation, with charitable status. Governed by a Board of Directors and grant aid agreement - HSE Section 39. Clann Mór is registered with HIQA.
