Job Description
We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Fine Dining Head Chef/Chef de Cuisine to join our luxury 5-star hotel in Galway.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee the kitchen and manage a team of culinary professionals
* Create menus that showcase creativity and profitability
* Source high-quality ingredients while ensuring cost controls
* Collaborate with the front-of-house team to deliver exceptional guest experiences
* Manage budgets and maintain cost-effective operations
Requirements:
* Culinary degree or equivalent experience
* 3-5 years as a Sous or Head chef in a fine dining, 2-3 Rosette or Michelin-standard restaurant
* Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a fine dining environment
* Strong leadership and management skills
* Excellent knowledge of food and cooking techniques
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience in managing high-volume and fast-paced environments
* Knowledge of HACCP and cost control measures
* Ability to create menus that balance creativity and profitability
* Experience working in a 5-star hotel or Michelin-recommended restaurant
