Human Resources Manager - Shannon (Hybrid Working)

We’re seeking a Human Resources Manager to lead the HR function at a large manufacturing facility in Shannon. This is a critical leadership role, offering hybrid working (2 days from home) and the opportunity to shape the strategic direction of the people agenda.
About the Role
As a member of the Site Senior Leadership Team, the HR Manager will play a pivotal role in driving employee engagement, fostering an evolving culture, and delivering exceptional HR services. Additionally, you’ll contribute to the Global HR Leadership Team, ensuring alignment with the company’s broader vision and strategy. You’ll lead a dedicated HR team and manage a wide range of HR initiatives designed to empower employees and optimise organisational performance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership: Collaborate with senior stakeholders to align HR initiatives with business objectives.
2. Cultural Evolution: Drive positive culture change, addressing challenges like siloed working, resistance to change, and communication gaps.
3. Employee Engagement: Foster a thriving work environment that supports personal and professional growth.
4. Leadership Development: Coach and develop leaders to build a high-performance mindset.
5. Talent Management: Attract and retain top talent through effective recruitment and learning programs.
6. Operational Excellence: Oversee HR service delivery, including payroll, employee relations, and performance management.
7. Learning & Development: Design and deliver impactful training initiatives.
8. Continuous Improvement: Enhance HR processes to support business agility and innovation.
What We’re Looking For
1. 5+ years in an HR management role, preferably within a manufacturing or a similar environment.
2. Proven ability to lead a small HR team and contribute as part of a senior management team.
3. Expertise in driving culture change and implementing leadership development programs.
4. Broad knowledge across HR disciplines, including organizational development, compensation, employee relations, and compliance.
5. Strong analytical, communication, and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
6. Degree in HR or a related field is preferred, with an advanced qualification (e.g., Masters in HRM) being an advantage.
