Job Description
We are offering an exciting opportunity for a talented Accounts Payable professional to join our Finance team at the head office in Dublin.
The successful candidate will have prior experience in a fast-paced multinational organisation and in handling multi-currency transactions. Reporting to the Finance Manager, they will demonstrate a high level of accuracy and the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a dynamic team.
Responsibilities
Accounts Payable (Ireland/UK region)
* Manage the receipt and processing of all supplier invoices into Netsuite, while ensuring that all invoices are accurately accounted for and appropriately approved.
* Manage supplier relationships and reconciliation of supplier accounts.
* Preparation of supplier payment runs.
Treasury (Ireland/UK region)
* Monitor bank balances and cash requirement needs.
* Oversee the daily reconciliation of all bank accounts in Netsuite.
* Liaise with the Finance Manager and the Accounts team to resolve any queries and ensure bank accounts are accurate and up-to-date.
* Assist in the preparation of the group cashflow.
Process Improvement Projects
* Lead Accounts Payable process improvement projects with particular focus on the automation of bank reconciliations and supplier payment runs.
Other Duties
* Manage monthly employee expenses and company credit cards.
* Support the month-end close process.
Requirements
* Three years of experience in an Accounts Payable (AP) role within a multinational company.
* Previous Accounts Payable process automation experience.
* Hands-on experience with accounting software (Netsuite is a distinct advantage).
* Experience in handling intercompany transactions in a multinational organisation.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Excellent time management skills and preference for high-intensity work environment.
* Fluent verbal and written English skills.
