Chief Engineer Role
The position of Chief Engineer is currently available at our client in Ireland, a permanent post with an excellent salary and employee benefits package based in Weston.
Responsibilities:
1. Evaluate and enhance engineering operations to achieve maximum aircraft availability while adhering to regulatory and contractual requirements.
2. Maintain strict adherence to continued airworthiness management standards outlined in IAA Part CAMO & Part 145.
3. Ensure that aircraft and components meet the specifications of Part 145 and Part CAMO.
4. Implement Company expositions (QID 054 (Pt145) and QID 113 (Pt M)) at bases.
5. Notify the Engineering manager promptly whenever engineering deficiencies emerge requiring attention.
6. Develop and execute effective corrective actions following audits and incidents.
7. Maintain engineering facilities and office spaces in accordance with Part 145 & Part CAMO standards, ensuring a healthy working environment.
8. Provide compliant storage facilities for necessary parts, tools, equipment, and materials to perform planned tasks.
9. Guarantee sufficient competent personnel to plan, perform, supervise, inspect, and certify work activities.
10. Monitor outstanding corrective actions following Audits.
11. Perform other duties as directed by the Part 145 Manager or Accountable Manager.
Requirements:
1. Candidates must be eligible to work and live in the Republic of Ireland.
2. All successful candidates must undergo psychological assessment and pre-employment medical checks as part of standard onboarding processes.
