In our Kilkenny facility, we are looking for a Senior Manufacturing Process Engineer (OSI-PI) to work in our Data Systems department. As the Sr. Manufacturing Process Engineer, you will be responsible for the OSI-PI data historian systems employed in our manufacturing facilities.
Responsibilities:
1. System Maintenance: Support and maintain our manufacturing operation (data) systems including hardware and software.
2. Control Systems: Ensure the effective functioning of SCADA and HMI systems.
3. Software Development: Develop and implement software-based systems for real-time data acquisition and storage from production machinery.
4. Data Analysis: Monitor and analyze OEE reports, energy monitoring, and data historian systems.
5. Automation and Security: Implement automated back-up and recovery systems and ensure cyber security measures are in place.
6. Project Leadership: Spearhead and support manufacturing software system implementations across the Division.
7. Collaboration: Work with resources from various sites and external service providers to lead projects and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
8. Process Improvement: Anticipate future needs of the business and recognize indicators of future opportunities; initiate plans to acquire new skills required by changes in technology.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in engineering (Systems, Mechanical, Computer, Electrical, Biomedical, or Software), or related discipline.
2. Mastery over engineering concepts and software development principles.
3. Experience working in the medical device industry.
4. 5+ years of significant OT, engineering, and/or operational experience.
5. Demonstrated ability to effectively integrate information from varied disciplines and work within a highly regulated environment.
